About Art Rountree

Real estate has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My grandfather was a commercial builder, and I followed that same path — spending more than 20 years developing, building, and managing commercial and residential properties across metro Atlanta.

That work spanned the full spectrum of real estate. On the commercial side, I developed and managed office, retail, and mixed-use properties. On the residential side, I owned and managed multifamily housing — including apartment communities where I handled everything from acquisitions and unit conversions to day-to-day operations and lease-up. I've been the owner, the developer, and the landlord. I know what it takes to make a property perform.

That background is on-the-job training you can't get from a desk. I've signed personal guarantees, managed contractors, navigated zoning boards, dealt with vacancies, and made decisions with real money on the line. When I sit across the table from a property owner today, I understand what they're carrying — because I've carried it too.

A few years ago I made the prayerful decision to transition from development into brokerage, where I could put that experience to work for other owners and tenants. I relocated my personal residence to Jupiter, Florida — a market I believe in deeply — to serve property owners in Palm Beach County. I'm also licensed in Georgia and continue to work with clients there.

‍ ‍A Few Credentials

Over the years my work has been recognized by the Atlanta Urban Design Commission with two Awards of Excellence in Renovations, and I've been named three times to the Atlanta Business Chronicle's "Who's Who in Residential Real Estate." I'm a graduate of the University of West Georgia, a Licensed General Contractor in Georgia, and hold a commercial real estate license in both Florida and Georgia.

Outside of Work

I'm married to my high school sweetheart and we have three grown sons. Faith and family are at the center of my life. We are members of Sand Harbor Presbyterian Church here in Jupiter. I play in the Thursday night mens golf league at Abacoa.
